RanchTrace LLC ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We comply with applicable U.S. data protection laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and North Dakota consumer protection laws.
We use your data to: (a) provide and maintain the Service; (b) process subscription payments; (c) provide customer support; (d) improve features and fix bugs; (e) send service notifications (e.g., billing, security alerts, renewal reminders). We do not sell your data to third parties.
Your data is stored in secure databases (Supabase/PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies ensuring each user can only access their own data. Data in transit is encrypted via TLS. Payment data is handled by Stripe under PCI-DSS compliance. Photos are stored in access-controlled cloud storage.
We share data only with the following service providers under appropriate data processing agreements:
We may also share data with law enforcement when legally compelled. Ranch team members you invite can see your farm data based on the role you assign them. You are responsible for the access you grant to invited team members.
You have the right to: (a) access your data; (b) correct inaccurate data; (c) delete your account and data; (d) export your data; (e) object to processing; (f) withdraw consent for analytics. When you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days as described in Section 7.

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use self-hosted analytics (stored in our own database) to understand feature usage; no third-party analytics or advertising cookies are used. We do not use cookies for advertising.
The Service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
The Service is intended for users located within the United States. We do not offer the Service to users outside the United States at this time. If you access the Service from outside the United States, please be aware that your data will be processed and stored in the United States.

If you invite team members to your ranch, they will have access to your farm data based on the role you assign them (owner, manager, or hand). You are responsible for managing who you invite and what permissions they have. You may revoke a team member's access at any time from the Settings page. When you revoke access, the team member will immediately lose access to your ranch data.
In the event of a security breach that compromises your personal data, we will notify affected users by email within 72 hours of confirming the breach. We will also take reasonable steps to contain the breach, investigate its scope, and prevent recurrence. If you believe a breach has occurred, contact us immediately at support@ranchtrace.org.
If you install the Service from the Google Play Store, the Google Play Store Terms of Service also apply to your use of the Service. RanchTrace is responsible for the Service and its content, not Google. Google may modify or terminate the Service's availability on the Play Store at its discretion.

RanchTrace is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the 4-H program, the USDA, or the National FFA Organization. Any references to youth programs in the Service are for descriptive purposes only and do not imply any affiliation or endorsement.
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

If you participate in the RanchTrace Affiliate Program, we collect and process additional data including your referral code, commission rate, PayPal email address, W-9 on-file status, referral tracking data (including referred user email and conversion status), and payout history. This data is used solely for administering the affiliate program and processing commission payments. Affiliate data is retained for the duration of your affiliate status plus seven years for tax and accounting compliance. You may request deletion of your affiliate data at any time, subject to pending payout obligations and tax record requirements.
